A resume is not a novel and does not need to be more than two pages. Some will say one page is best; I disagree. While a page may be sufficient, sometimes with three to four roles over a 10 year span, two pages may be required in order to efficiently organize the technologies that where used in each role. Technology changes quicker than a well-tenured engineer, thus leaving multiple technologies to list at each company.
A resume should be as long as it needs to be, not any longer.
