In an airplane, there is an instrument panel – of the instruments, the “attitude indicator” is arguably the most important you have as a pilot. This is the one that lets the pilot know where she’s oriented in relation to the horizon. In other words, it lets her know whether she’s flying straight of heading toward the ground.
As a business owner and “wanna be pilot”, I know that there are a number of instruments in the “cockpit” on both fronts. From the business side we have the pipeline of a business to be closed, the list of revenue-producing customers, the list of candidates we have placed in the last year. All of these serve as gauges to deliver vital information that helps “fly” the business. But what happens when the sky darkens and you can’t tell whether you’re flying straight or spiraling to the ground?
In an ideal world, you’d want to have all of your gauges available to you at all times. In reality, that’s not always possible. Sometimes you’re working so hard to keep your business flying that you have to zero in on just one instrument. I’ve been there in the past, and it’s a scary place to be, but in my business, there is one tool that I could count on during those times: a network of referrals.
Even when nothing else seems to be going our way, we’ve been fortunate enough to get referrals coming our way. For more than eleven years, we’ve had businesses referred to us and associates saying, “Hey, you need to know Phoenix Staff.” Without these referrals, we’d be flying our business blind; they really do act like the attitude indicator that keeps our company steady.
Our mission is and always will be providing the highest level of service to our candidates and clients. Our ability to deliver on that mission can be shown each and every day by our “attitude indicator,” or the percentage of people we connect with through our existing customers and candidates. Each referral we earn is further proof that we’re heading in the right direction and continuing to deliver on the promises we make to our customers.
We value your referrals beyond words. They’re what keeps our business soaring. By the way, “who do you know?” www.hereismyreferral.com
